CME MW duty-paid financials for H2 2019 tick up; LME MW financials waiting to gain traction

 

Preliminary data indicates that CME MW duty-paid premium financials for Q4 2019 transacted today at 17.30 cent/lb, increasing 0.13 cent/lb from a week ago. Meanwhile, CME MW duty-paid premium financials for Q3 2019 transacted at 17.70 cent/lb, up 0.30 cent/lb from a week ago. Today’s preliminary transacted volume for H2 2019 contracts was equivalent to 8,250 mton. Meanwhile, LME MW duty-paid premium financials have not registered transacted volumes since their first day of trading on March 11.
