HARBOR’s US MW P1020 Ingot Duty-Paid Consumer-Supplier Spot Transaction Premium strengthened to 16.80-17.78 cent/lb from 16.35-16.80 cent/lb. MW duty-paid premiums firm up as a lagged response to an LME price rally that took place earlier in the week and wider LME spreads. However, there are still multiple bearish factors exerting downward pressure on MW premiums Meanwhile, HARBOR is picking up from several market sources that one trading company has recently purchased over 200 kmton of Canadian units from a major North American supplier amid conviction that Canada will soon get full exemption on Section 232 Tariffs
